Yarloop is located between the towns of Waroona and Harvey and was once the centre of the timber industry in the area until the emergence of the citrus and dairying industries which still remain the areas economic mainstays today.


Natural Attractions

The Logue Brook Dam is an ideal recreational area for boating and fishing. A caravan park, boat launching facilities and numerous BBQ spots are all nearby.

Yarloop Pool is located 3 kilometres west of the town and makes a relaxing picnic spot with tranquil waters and shady trees.

Other Attractions

The Blue Gum Studio sells and displays a selection of handcrafted gifts such as paintings, jewellery and wood turning.

The old Yarloop engineering workshops have been restored and are on display to the public who can come and relive the days of steam and horse drawn vehicles the workshops operated through.
