from 'OZpedia the Free Guide'

This is an Aboriginal community located to the west of Alice Springs. To make your way there you need to drive along Larapinta Drive, roughly just over 100 kilometres, and you will then need to take a left turn off the road towards James Ranges.

You have the choice of either spending just the day here or camping overnight. There are a number of tours organised, the idea of which are to introduce you to something of the community's way of life, culture and heritage, both past and present.
