from 'OZpedia the Free Guide'

Tahune is located along the banks of the Huon River and reached via the Arve Road. There are pleasant picnic areas, and plenty of natural beauty to take in. The Huon Pine Walk will take you past both young and old pines in a natural riverine rainforest environment. This walk is relatively easy, takes about 20 minutes, and has various signs which will tell you all about the Huon Pines. The Stringybark Loop involves some gentle slopes and takes 30 minutes. There are two basic campsites on the southern side of the river.
