The Grubb Shaft Museum is located on West Street in Beaconsfield, and contains a wealth of historical information and displays on subjects relating to Beaconsfield's social and industrial history.

A variety of domestic memorabilia are on display, and visitors can inspect working models of a pumping plant and 1870 steel blast furnace, and can also help to operate the 18 foot waterwheel and stamp battery.

The Museum building is one of the original settlement buildings and has been restored by the National Trust to become the award winning Grubb Shaft Museum. The Museum is open from 10am to 4pm daily and is closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.
