Only upload Photographs, Images, Maps, Drawings or any other graphic that is in the Public Domain or you have produced yourself and are willing to place in the Public Domain. Just to restate the important, 'Only upload Photographs, Images, Maps, Drawings or any other graphic that is in the Public Domain or you have produced yourself and are willing to place in the Public Domain.' The only real difference between Public Domain and the GNU-FDL which is used by Wikipedia, is that attribution of the source is required by the FDL and NOT required by Public Domain. You can upload images of these types JPG, GIF and PNG. The maximum file size is 1mb. The image, if greater than 800 x 600 pixels is reduced to 800 x 600 pixels, if smaller, it is left at it's original size. There is also a thumbnail of 100 x 75 pixels produced for display in the Galleries. The image is converted to JPG and stored on our system. The only part of the original image that is kept on our system is the filename that was used to upload. This enables you to organise the images, when you upload large numbers of them. Rate Page
