Mullalyup is located between Donnybrook and Balingup in the Blackwood River Valley region of the south west of the State. The town is surrounded by pleasant farming country.


The Blackwood Inn was built in 1864 as a stagecoach stop and today serves as a pleasant stop for weary travellers with a cafe serving delicious Devonshire teas, light meals and evening meals daily.

The Old Stables Pottery is also classified by the National Trust and welcomes visitors who wish to browse through the selection of functional pottery and high quality arts and crafts. Visitors can also watch the potters at work.
