from 'OZpedia the Free Guide'

Maryvale Station is situated 120 kilometres south of Alice Springs, on the road to Chambers Pillar Historical Reserve. It is a cattle station, run by the Hayes family, and is approximately 3,200 square kilometres in size.

The station is also home to about 115 local aborigines, who sell their handcrafts at the store on the station. The store also provides other basic services, and morning and afternoon teas are available.

Camping on the property is no problem, and toilets and water (but no shower facilities) are available. Phone (089) 560 989 for more information.
