This is an elegant Georgian building which was designed by Francis Greenway as accommodation for his fellow convicts in 1819, then later used to house single female immigrants. Rediscover the daily life of these occupants - where and how they slept, ate, worked and dreamt. The Barracks also houses the Greenway Gallery, with changing exhibitions about history, ideas and culture.

Open daily 10am - 5pm except Good Friday and Christmas Day.
