Located in Victoria's magnificent Grampian Country, Lake Bolac is a small township that offers relaxation and a great beauty. The town's main attraction is the Lake itself, a superb freshwater lake that covers 1,460 hectares. Each year Lake Bolac hosts an Annual Easter Regatta which attracts hundreds of yachting enthusiasts and thousands of spectators who are attracted to the colour and spectacle of the race and a great day out.

Lake Bolac offers spectacular scenery, its tree lined banks are ideal for picnics and peaceful enjoyment of the water, there are also a number of secluded sandy beaches to enjoy and many campsites. The Lake offers a range of activities all manner of watersports and is suitable for all sorts of boating. There is also great fishing to enjoy mainly trout, redfin and eel.

Nearby the Lake's shore is a multi- purpose sporting and recreation complex where people of all ages enjoy a range of activities.
