Kings Creek Campground is to be found along the Ernest Giles Road which is off the Stuart Highway. It is on the way to the Kings Canyon just on the border of the Watarraka National Park.

The campground is on the Kings Creek Cattle Station, which offers a number of activities for visitors. There are camel rides, tours of the property (by prior arrangement only), as well as the opportunity to explore for yourself on foot. A shop provides basic services, and there is a take-away food outlet and a barbecue area.

The station boasts disabled facilities, and provides a shower for travellers passing through the area. It also handles minor mechanical repairs.
