Jervois Station, Northern Territory : Main Article
Jervois Station is located about 330 kilometres to the north east of Alice Springs. The Station is owned by the Broad family, who run Polled Hereford on the property.
The station is one of many under the flight path of South Australia's Woomera Range, used during the 1960s to test fire rockets, and an air raid shelter on the property remains as a legacy of this time.
The station is really only accessible by 4WD vehicles, but all visitors are welcome. There is a small shop selling food and souvenirs, as well as a petrol pump and facilities for minor mechanical repairs. There is a rest area near the property which provides basic camping services.
