from 'OZpedia the Free Guide'

Hollybank is an extremely popular picnic spot in Tasmania, for both visitors and locals alike. The area is about a 30 minute drive from Launceston, and has been developed to be an educational area as well as a recreational one.

There are many opportunities within Hollybank to learn more about the Tasmanian Forests and the way that they are managed and developed, and this adds a new perspective to a picnic. The Walk of Change at Hollybank takes about 30 minutes to complete. It takes you through three different types of forest with signs along the way to keep you informed about the surrounding nature.

Hollybank lies near to the town of Underwood in northern Tasmania, and picnic, barbecue and bush walking facilities are all available here.
