Coorow is located 262 kilometres north of Perth, just south of Three Springs in the midlands region. The town was first settled in 1862 with the arrival of pioneers William and Sara Long. Their homestead is next to the present day town site. The arrival of the Midland Railway in 1894 ensured Coorow's steady development and prosperity.


Natural Attractions

The Alexander Morrison National Park is home to some spectacular scenery and many fine examples of native flora and fauna. A number of gorgeous wildflower drives can be embarked on by visitors to the area who wish to be dazzled by the enormous variety and colour of the regions famous fragile, pretty wildflowers.

The Darling Fault is located 12 kilometres west of the town and is one of the deepest sedimentary basins in the world, well worth visiting.
