Brookton is located between the towns of Beverley and Pingelly in south west region of Western Australia. The town was first settled by timber getters from the towns of York and Guildford who had been part of the Swan River Colony founded in 1831.


Historic Attractions

The Old Police Station is open on request and visits can be arranged by contacting 096 - 42 1052.

St Mark's Anglican Church was built in 1895 entirely from local stone and can be seen on Robinson Road.

The Old Railway Station has been restored to house the Tourist Information Centre and an arts and crafts store.

Natural Attractions

Lions Picnic Park is an ideal venue for a leisurely outdoor BBQ or picnic where visitors can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.

Nine Acre Rock has the distinction of being the largest granite outcrop in the area and vistas of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from this amazing vantage point.
