from 'OZpedia the Free Guide'

Breona is located close to the Mother Lord Plains, on the shores of Great Lake in central Tasmania. From here it is not terribly far to the Central Plateau Conservation Area which covers a total of 93,000 hectares.

This whole area is sometimes referred to as 'the land of the thousand lakes' and it will be obvious to you why when you see the surroundings for yourself. There is some excellent trout fishing to be had here and plenty of possible walks and picnic spots to choose from.
