Boyup Brook is located in the heart of blackboy country, by the banks of the meandering Blackwood River. Nearby towns are Bridgetown and Mayanup.
Historic Attractions
Boyup Brook Flax Mill was built on the Blackwood river in the 1940s to process the flax grown in the area. With the arrival of synthetic fibres, the flax industry declined and the Flax Mill was closed in 1965. Today it serves as a recreation camp.
The Old Museum contains collections of articles donated by the pioneer families of Boyup Brook and surrounding area.

Sandy Chambers Art Studio is a showcase for the artist's works to be admired by visitors. Camels and birds can also be seen on the premises.
Carnaby Beetle Collection is an unusual display of beetles which can be inspected in the Tourist Centre.
The Harvey Dickson Country music Centre is 5 kilometres from town and features a recording studio, mini museum with country music memorabilia and a picnic area with displays of wildlife nearby.
