Bindoon is the main town located within the Shire of Chittering, 87 kilometres north of Perth.

The Blackboy Ridge Park has several bushwalking trails leading through areas of scenic beauty and abundant native flora. Picnic facilities are available here also.

Windmill Farm is situated on Kay road and invites visitors to view the farm animals and enjoy the scenic beauty of the farm surrounds whilst leisurely lingering over a Devonshire Tea or a light lunch.

Golden Grove Citrus Orchard offers visitors the chance to view the processes involved in the manufacture of pure orange juice.

Sewell Park has a series of picturesque walks that allow the visitor to enjoy the myriad of wildflowers and birdlife and a number of lakes and waterways to explore on horseback or canoe. A nine hole golf course is also available in the park for visitor enjoyment.

Nearby Attractions

Bullsbrook Antiques, Cottage Craft and the Aviator's Cafe is an ideal way for the visitor to spend an afternoon as they browse through the antiques and bric a brac collections. A cup of tea and a light lunch can be enjoyed in the Aviator's Cafe adjacent to the Antique and craft stores.

The Maze in Bullsbrook is set within a bushland setting and has many distractions such as mini golf, walks and Maze 'n' Koalas, a unique maze to keep the kids occupied for hours. Picnic facilities are available.

Darling Range Shetland Pony Stud offers pony drawn covered wagon trips through bushland while observing various Shetland Ponies and other scenic attractions. Pre booking is essential and can be made by contacting 09 - 571 1594. Light meals can be enjoyed in the garden area.

Take a wild jet boat ride at the Wannamal jet sprint track located at Hayflat Road. Guaranteed thrills and excitement await here.

Events

Each September Bindoon hosts the Wildflower Weekend, followed a month later by the Agricultural Show and the Sheep Dog Trials.
