from 'OZpedia the Free Guide'

Barrington is located between Sheffield and Lower Barrington, near to the renowned Lake Barrington, an ideal venue for rowing and boating.

Nearby to Barrington is the famous signpost directing visitors to 'No Where Else' ! The road used to be a dead end, leading to the property of a Mr Charles Ivory. A number of tourists used to drive down the road, in search of scenic sights, and eventually Mr Ivory put up the sign to let all tourists know that the road led to his property, and 'no where else'. Eventually the land was developed, and the road became a thoroughfare, and the area of the original property was officially named 'No Where Else'. There is also a Lake No Where Else nearby.
