Aldinga is located on the north west of the Fleurieu Peninsula. It offers the visitor miles of splendid beach, all of which are protected by surf lifesaving clubs.

Aldinga beach is a popular hangout for birdwatchers, with its wetlands attracting all sorts of feathered animals. Not far off is the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park with its boardwalk trail. This offers you the chance to stroll close to many natural features, including the Lacy Coral Lichen, which is a relatively rare species of lichen.
